Hello and welcome, my name is Louise. I am a Mama, Folk Herbalist, Birthkeeper and
Steward of the Sacred Wild,
I live on the
border of Norfolk and suffolk in the East of England with my 3 children.
I have birthed each of my children at home, one midwife attended birth and two undisturbed freebirths.
Each pregnancy, birth portal and initiation into motherhood has
brought deep transformation and informs much of my work in the world
I know in my heart and in my bones that I am here to feel deeply of grief,
ecstasy and everything in between. I walk the ever flowing spiral of the seasons, honouring our Earth Mother and plant kin. I seek out magick and the wild places,
I live in reverence to the Great Mystery,
may I inspireyou to do the same.
The Red Thread is that which connects us as women here and now, our ancestors who walked before us and those yet unborn who will walk after us, the red thread symbolising our blood, our connection to the mysteries of bringing forth life, our blood mysteries of menstruation and the sacred energies of death and dying.
My teachers

-I am currently a Year 3 student of Advanced Herbalism with the School of the Sacred Wild.
-2 years of training in Sacred plant medicine, holistic healing and traditional herbalism through the School of the Sacred Wild.

My tradition of folk herbalism is deeply rooted in the wise woman tradition of healing. I honour the Grandmothers of my tradition, those living presently and those who paved the way, i honour the wise women; the witches who were killed for their knowledge of Earth based healing and have deep gratitude for being alive at this time of remembering, may we collectively awaken from the widespread amnesia and return home to ourselves and walk once again in reverence to our beautiful Earth.
